Lunebank Riding Centre at Lanquestrian Ltd. is approved by the Association of British Riding Schools.

The ABRS has Britain's longest established riding school approval scheme (since 1954). It is the only organisation solely representing professional riding school proprietors and is thus ideally placed to assist and guide young people seeking careers with horses. It has a wide ranging examination and testing system which enables teenagers to build up worthwhile gradings and certificates in preparation for leaving school and taking up full time training. The tests and exams are also open to any regular rider at Lanquestrian Ltd. incorporating Lunebank Riding Centre

ABRS Tests and Examinations at Lunebank

We last held the weekly riders tests on 3rd March 2007 and 11th March 2007.

Tests for 2007 will be held on the following dates for Pony Club Centre Members at the weekly 3 hour Rally:

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th May
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July
Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd September
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th November


The extra cost is £5 per test for levels A-E and Tests 1-3 as these may be examined "in-house" by a tester whom has not taught you. Tests from level 4 upwards will be at a higher cost as we need to hire a tester for the occasion.

Tests for riders whom are not pony club centre members will be advertised on the notice board and on this web page. The next tests will be held on:
