For breaking and schooling livery please telephone as we are able to take certain ones on at present, depending upon the timescales due to building works.

We offer the following types of Livery:

DO IT YOURSELF LIVERY
DIY livery price of £28 per week. Haylage when required is £10 per week per horse.

GRASS LIVERY
A restricted number of grass liveries are also available all year - the basic cost is £18 per week however for lame recouperating or retired horses the costs may be higher dependant on what you require us to do and is arranged on an individual case basis. Haylage is charged at £10 per horse per week in the winter months if required in the field.

BOAT/NIGHT/HOLIDAY LIVERY
We offer a turnout facilitiy For those who wish to unload for an hour or two whilst waiting for the Boat at Heysham Harbour or for those who cannot get on the boat we can offer livery for the night, a few days or even a few weeks, This type of livery is also suitable for stays during competitions or waiting for other transport or when you are on holiday.
Our charges are £15 per night for the first night, £10 per night thereafter upto 2 weeks then the price is rearranged according to circumstances and the type of livery required. We can only offer grass only livery at present until our main stables and facilities are built.

PART, FULL, BREAKING AND SCHOOLING LIVERY
These types of livery are available, please come and have a chat with us about your requirements and we will give you a price depending on what services you actually require.
Our staff are experienced and qualified and take the utmost care when dealing with or riding your horse or pony. All are trained to deal with young horses and ponies and are experienced in breaking and schooling. All work is carried out under expert supervision and the horse's or pony's best interests always come first. All of our training uses the principles of classical equitation. You can see the work we have done with our own young horses and you are welcome to take an active part in the breaking or schooling programme of your horse or pony if you wish.

Have you ever dreamed of having your own stables?

Well at Lanquestrian having a stable is like having your own yard without the expense. We offer DIY Livery on small individual yards. Please note however we offer a livery service all be it different to what other establishments offer and do not rent the stables and paddocks out for you to do with what you want! We have rules to follow and have control of how the facility is kept, although we do this in our freindly way. All stables are new as of autumn 2006 and measure 12’ x 12’ . There are 2 stables in each block each block with its own store room for feed, hay, bedding, tools and tack. We provide upto 2 acres of turnout for most of the year which has safe fencing and access to water. If there is too much grass in summer we will reduce the size of the paddocks as we think fit to avoid over grazing. Lighting is also available in each stable complex.

We regret No Stallions will be allowed on livery at Lanquestrian Ltd. due to the close proximity of the farm ride, however stallions will be permitted at shows and are permitted to hire the facilities. For welfare and security we do late night and early morning checks, as well as there being staff on site at all other times. The Gates are locked at 10pm every night (* facilities & services will be available as and when any building works are completed)

HOWEVER, DO YOU still require all the facilities a conventional big yard has to offer?

As a livery at Lanquestrian you will automatically receive:
*Gold Membership package of Lanquestrian Riding Club
*Free access to the farm ride of 2 ½ miles of off road riding with optional jumps
*Free use of grass and outdoor arenas with jumps for the use of liveries and riding school
*Free use of the Gymnastic Jumping Lane set up with a grid of jumps
*A discount on additional services and facilities offered by Lanquestrian (*except for additional part or full Livery services which are at extra cost).

Other services we offer at a discount for Lanquestrian Liveries are:

- Riding Lessons at our Association of British Riding Schools Approved and Pony Club Centre on either riding school horses or your own
-Indoor Arena
-Grass Arenas: Dressage and Show Jumping
-BSJA specification Show Jumping course on grass arena also now with cross country jumps
-Lanquestrian Riding Club Activities and Shows
We host Unaffiliated shows in: Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross country, 1-day ,2-day ,& 3- day events and carriage driving and polocrosse.
We host Affiliated shows for: Pony Club and have Adult ‘Pony Camps’. We also hire the facilities and Show Ground to other clubs and organisations

All of the above is available on Do It Yourself Livery for the basic price of £28* per horse/pony per week. Haylage is available at a cost of £10 per horse per week. Livery is charged weekly and is payable by standing order in advance, 1 months livery is required as a deposit payable before you arrive. 4 weeks notice is required if you plan to leave, if all bills are paid and there is no damage to your stables and field this is returnable upon leaving.

Charges at Lanquestrian:

Gold Members receive a 20% discount (for 1 named person per horse at livery only - person to be named on Livery Agreement) except livery services which are offered at extra cost. Charges are as of January 2010 and are subject to change without prior notice.

DIY Livery Costs

£112 Deposit per stable (one off payment - refundable if no damage and all bills are paid on leaving - IF YOU EVER DO!)

£28 Rent per stable/per week - payable weekly in advance by standing order (+ turnout most of year & includes 1 Gold Membership per stable)

Riding Lessons: With 20% Gold member discount
At an Association of British Riding Schools Approved and Pony Club Centre:
1 hour lesson £16
2 Hour Pony Club Centre Members Rally ( 1 hour riding 1 hour horse care) £20 - No discount
Tag on to organised hack (riders must be proficient horse/pony and rider at level of hack) £5

Farm Ride: Unlimited use for member.(all liveries have gold membership granted)

Gold & Silver Members: Unlimited use for member
Bronze Members £10
Non- Members £12

Facility Hire:
Liveries have FREE access to all Outdoor Arenas and Grass Arenas on show field inc. Show Jumping and warm up areas however these must be booked in advance and may be shared with other liveries/part loaners. (The charge for using the indoor arena and for use of lights can be split evenly between the number of riders using the indoor arena at the same time)

The following Prices are with the 20% gold member discount for liveries:
Indoor Arena £16 per hour
Use of lights (no discount) £4 per hour

There are always qualified instructors on site however if you bring your own instructor there is a £10 charge per hour. Any sub hire is prohibited without prior arrangement for which hire charges are assessed on an individual basis.

Lanquestrian Riding Club Membership:

Gold Membership for one rider only is included with each horse kept at DIY Livery

Annual Bronze Membership gives you member rates for hire of some facilities and reduced entry fees and of course club membership, Bronze costs:
Adults Riding & Driving member £20
Children Riding & Driving member (under 16 years) £15
1 Adult/ 1 Child Riding & Driving members of same family £30.00 (Must apply together)
Family of 4 Riding & Driving members (direct family members) £60 (Must apply together)

With Silver Membership you have the benefits of Bronze membership AND free unlimited use of the farm ride and a 5% discount on hire of all other facilities.Annual Silver membership £120 (or £10 per month standing order).
