DIY, Part & Full Livery At Lanquestrian Ltd.
At Present there are no vacancies for livery : We are currently full however we do have a waiting list should you wish to be put on it. Occasionally we have a block of 2 stables available with own tackroom/feed sheds and upto 2 acres with daily winter turnout, we ideally prefer to rent it to 1 person who requires the whole unit however we will consider 2 seperate people. (would suit 2 friends).

Lanquestrian Livery is in an idyllic location close to the Lune Estuary and Morecambe Bay, we are therefore an ideal location to keep your horse on livery. For horse owners the location is certainly an attractive benefit as we are only a short distance out of town. We have all the facilities you would expect at a large equestrian centre for those who enjoy schooling, dressage, jumping and competing and for the happy hacker we have 2½ miles of onsite riding tracks (occasionally closed for maintenance) in addition to hacking locally through quiet villages, along tidal roads and bridleways, 2 miles of tracks at Middleton Wood and 2 square miles of beach at Middleton Sands,
Lanquestrian Livery is managed by Jeannette who rides and drives and she has many years of experince in keeping horses and running a riding school and livery yard as well as experience with most disciplines of competition at top level and is on hand to offer help to those who want it. Chris is our Yard Manager and is responsible for the care of the day to day running of the yard and providing full or part care for the horses with the help of various other members of staff.

There are 5 blocks of 2 stables with storage within 10 acres of excellent grazing, each block is set within its own 2 acres and so grazing can be for 2 horses together or split for individual paddocks with panoramic views over the surrounding farmland. In summer we allow horses to be turned out 24/7 if that is what you want. If you need less grass in summer we will section it off and make hay of the rest to help maintain the pasture to ensure good grazing for your horses throughout the Autumn. We do not allow strip grazing as that takes all of the goodness out of the land - if your horse is prone to laminitis ask us to help you manage it as with proper management laminitis can be kept at bay. In the winter we allow grazing during the day but insist on stabling at night so as to rest the land.
All of the facilities are available to liveries to provide our clients with an excellent range of resources at their disposal...With the convenience of modern purpose-built facilities, our small dedicated team are able to offer a first-class service and accommodate the individual needs of clients wherever possible. To find out more about our facilities take a look at the rest of the site or contact us for further information and to arrange a visit.
Being on livery at at Lanquestrian Ltd. is like having your own small yard but with the benefits of a large equestrian centre with all of our facilities, we have found this also eliminates the hassels of either being isolated with no facilities if you just rented or bought a small yard of your own and it also removes the hassels of being on a busy livery yard with clashing personalities and problems in sharing fields etc. You and your horse or pony's welfare are paramount to us and all of our existing liveries have been here for about 3 years or more and so we like to vet any new clients as much as you vet us - we hope that you understand why!
